Transactions we support

Most owners go through a company sale or acquisition once or twice. Lenders and investors do it every week. Our job is to level that field: shaping the transaction, preparing the numbers the way credit committees and investment committees want to read them, and creating genuine competition for your deal.

  • Acquisition and management buy-out funding
  • Shareholder and partner exits
  • Growth capital and capital structuring
  • Cash-out refinancing and dividend recapitalisation
  • Preparing a business and its numbers for lenders and investors

Debt, equity or both

The right answer is often a blend: senior debt for the core, mezzanine or vendor deferral to bridge the gap, equity only where it earns its dilution. Because we are independent and paid to advise rather than to sell a product, the structure is built around your objectives, including the ones that are hard to say out loud, like how much risk you actually want to carry.

We work alongside your accountants and lawyers, run the funding process in parallel with the deal timetable, and keep the market competitive until terms are signed.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can an acquisition be funded mostly with debt?

Often, yes. Lenders will fund against the target's cash flows and assets as well as the buyer's. Structures commonly combine senior debt, deferred consideration and a measured equity contribution.

Do you raise equity as well as debt?

Our core work is debt, but many transactions blend both and we arrange the full structure, introducing equity partners where the deal needs them.

How long does acquisition funding take?

Indicative terms typically within one to two weeks of a complete information pack; credit approval and legals usually four to eight weeks. We run this in parallel with the transaction timetable so funding is never the critical path.
